Position Overview
We are a dynamic, fast-growing SaaS startup looking for a driven and energetic Sales Development
Representative (SDR) to join our team. If you have a passion for prospecting, cold calling, and identifying
new business opportunities, we want to hear from you! This person will play a key role in hunting for
new business, taking prospects through the sales funnel, and ultimately closing deals. You’ll work closely
with the sales manager and marketing team to generate leads, build relationships with prospects, and
convert them into long-term customers.
Essential Functions

- Identify, research and engage potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social
outreach. - Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close. This includes scheduling and conducting
product demos and moving prospects through the sales funnel. - Gain a deep understanding of our software, its features, and benefits to effectively communicate
its value to potential clients. - Negotiate and close deals with new customers to meet or exceed your sales targets.
- Use CRM (HubSpot) to manage your pipeline and keep track of your progress, ensuring accurate
data entry and reporting. - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and
customer success to ensure alignment on sales strategies, product knowledge, and customer
needs, driving successful business outcomes
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position for at least 40 hours per week. Hours and days worked are Monday through
Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, hours worked may be synonymous with specific departments.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1-5 years of sales experience, preferably in cold calling, prospecting, or outbound sales.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for hunting new business and closing deals.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Ability to handle objections and build
rapport with potential clients. - Experience in SaaS or software sales is preferred, but not required. Must be willing to quickly
learn and understand new technologies. - Experience working with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
